It is with great sadness that we share the passing of longtime Warbler’s member Sandy Stott, who passed away on May 18 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Sandy and her beloved husband, Bob Stott, became members of Warbler’s in 2001. Many members will remember Bob’s years of dedicated service as Warbler’s caretaker until his passing in 2019.
Sandy was a familiar and cherished part of our community. She generously volunteered at Warbler’s events, and pot luck dinner and especially those events involving children, helping with activities such as face painting, rock painting, crafts, and more. She loved camping at Warbler’s and looked forward to gathering with friends and family for our annual 4th of July celebrations.
Above all, Sandy was a devoted Christian whose faith, family, and relationship with Jesus were the center of her life. Her family shared that she faced the end of her earthly journey with peace and confidence, knowing she was going home to be with the Lord she loved so dearly.
On June 13, Sandy was laid to rest beside her beloved husband Bob in Lovells Cemetery.
For those who were unable to attend Sandy's service, Grayling Assembly of God graciously provided a live stream of the service. The recording will remain available on their page for 30 days following the service for family and friends who would like to watch and remember Sandy's life and legacy.
The Warbler’s family extends our deepest sympathy and prayers to Sandy’s children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, and all who knew and loved her. She will be greatly missed, but fondly remembered by the many lives she touched throughout the years.❤️

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of Warbler's Hideaway's earliest and most cherished members, Harry "Doc" Pinter.
Doc has been a part of the Warbler's family since the 1960s, when his cabin first became a gathering place filled with laughter, friendship, and memories. Over the years, he brought not only his children, but also his grandchildren to experience the special sense of community that makes Warbler's feel like home.
Doc's kindness and generosity touched countless lives. Many of us have admired the beauty he helped create here through the flowers and hanging baskets he so lovingly donated from his greenhouse each year. He was always polite, welcoming, and quick with a friendly smile. He embodied the spirit of Warbler's Hideaway and helped shape it into the community we know and love today.
While our hearts are saddened by this loss, we are grateful for the many years, memories, and traditions Doc shared with all of us. He will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever remain a part of the Warbler's story.
Please keep Doc's family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Rest in peace, Doc. Thank you for leaving this place more beautiful than you found it. ❤️
