Good evening ladies. I wanted to follow up regarding 2 events, at this time, in July that help is needed for.

July 4th Bean Supper is going to have a limited menu as we celebrate Americas 250th Birthday. If possible we are using disposable items and tableware. This should allow for quicker/ easier clean up so we and our guests can join the music and fireworks behind the post. That being said I believe we need about 8 or 10 people to help. Do I have volunteers?

Second event is the Pennell Alumni event on Saturday July 18th during the daytime. It’s a cold buffet so it’s fairly easy. I’m thinking 5 volunteers needed beginning about 9am and likely they will be all done after lunch and their meeting by 3 or 4. Who is available to help that day?

Thank you all for everything you do. Without your help Unit 86 wouldn’t be as successful as we are.

Okay ladies, Mary has only heard from 3 people for casseroles. Are any of you planning on being at the supper to help or bring a casserole? I know a few people are away that night and it’s a busy time of year. Looking to make sure we have enough volunteers and casseroles. Help is needed. Spread the word. We do this so the ALA can serve veterans. Hope to hear from some of you.
