Please call 207-873-9199 soon to secure your spot and let them know you are a member of the Crystal Lake Association to receive the discounted rate of $310 for a 1,000 gallon tank.

Do not delay as we need a minimum of 10 properties in order to receive the group discount. Additionally, if you call at the last minute they may not be able to accommodate your request.

Please note that your tank MUST be uncovered to receive this price. If this is not possible for you, please let them know and they can provide other options.

Snow and ice season is here, and it's important to ensure our property management does not negatively impact lake and watershed health. ๐ŸŒจ๏ธ๐Ÿ’ง๐ŸŒฟ

Road salt keeps walkways and driveways safe, but it is toxic. Using more than you need does not improve safety, and the extra salt washes into soils, groundwater, streams, and lakes, where it can harm amphibians, invertebrates, and long-term water quality. ๐Ÿง‚๐Ÿšซ๐ŸฆŽ๐ŸŒŠ

Snow piles collect everything from a winter of driving and walking: salt, sand, vehicle fluids, leaves, and debris. When the snow melts, that runoff needs a safe place to go. ๐ŸŒจ๏ธ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ›ข๏ธ๐Ÿ‚

and leach fields to avoid damage, contamination, compaction, and flooding. ๐Ÿ”๏ธ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ’ง๐Ÿšซ

A good way to ensure healthy spring growth is adding some salt-tolerant vegetation in areas where meltwater soaks into the ground. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’งโ˜€๏ธ

The Town of Gray's awesome Resiliency Committee was recently featured in the Portland Press Herald, as chair Sandy Carder explained the committee's proposed watershed management plan and what it means for our community.

๐Ÿ“ฐRead the article here: https://www.pressherald.com/2025/09/22/leader-of-grays-resiliency-committee-outlines-watershed-management-plan/

The watershed management plan is a comprehensive, community-driven, and proactive strategy to protect and improve the townโ€™s water quality, especially in its lakes, streams, and drinking water sources.
