The week before school started, our officer team gathered at the high school to prepare for an exciting year ahead! 💙💛 Officers spent time reviewing and planning our Program of Activities, sharing ideas, setting goals, and participating in team-building activities.

After all the planning was done, we headed to Topgolf for appetizers, games, and some much-deserved time just hanging out together! We’re excited to see what this group of leaders accomplishes this year! 🦁

While our socials may have been a little quiet this summer, there’s been plenty happening behind the scenes at Gravette Ag!

We have SO much excitement ahead this school year, and we can’t think of a better way to kick things off than with some pretty incredible news…

🌟 Gravette FFA has been recognized as a 3-Star National Chapter for the THIRD year in a row! 🌟

The 3-Star National Chapter rating is the highest rating an FFA chapter can receive, and we are incredibly proud to continue living up to that standard year after year.

This recognition reflects the dedication of our members, officers, advisors, school, and community as we continue growing leaders, building communities, and strengthening agriculture.

‼️ Gravette Agricultural Education is growing! Please help us welcome Jenna Frederick, our new Agricultural Science Teacher!

Ms. Frederick earned her bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education from Oklahoma State University before spending a year teaching agriculture in the Bentonville School District. Originally from Hackett, Arkansas, she grew up actively involved in both 4-H and FFA.

Ms. Frederick will be taking over our middle school ag program as a full-time teacher. This exciting addition will allow us to expand agricultural education opportunities for our middle school students. We will continue offering Introduction to the World of Agriculture to our 7th graders while adding Introduction to Agriculture for 8th graders, giving students the opportunity to earn high school credit before they even enter high school.

We are so excited to welcome Ms. Frederick to the Gravette Ag family and to continue growing opportunities for our students! 💙💛

Our Gravette FFA officer team has had a busy start to the summer!

We kicked things off with some community service, helping remove carpet at First Assembly of God Church as they prepare for facility updates.

This past week, our officer team attended a 3-day leadership conference hosted by Har-Ber FFA. Members had the opportunity to network with officers from other local chapters, gather ideas to bring back to Gravette FFA, participate in leadership workshops, and complete community service projects at the Jones Center and Cobblestone Farms.

We are excited to see our officers continue growing as leaders and look forward to all they will accomplish this year as they prepare for an exciting 2026-2027 school year!

As the school year comes to a close, we took time to recognize our members’ hard work and accomplishments at our annual Gravette FFA Awards Banquet. With more than 150 members, families, and guests in attendance, we enjoyed a meal together while celebrating an incredible year for our chapter.

Throughout the evening, we recognized our CDE and LDE teams, degree recipients, Star Award winners, senior members, and our newly elected officer team. We also heard outstanding retiring addresses from President Kaden Fox and Reporter Svea Stauffacher as they reflected on the past year and encouraged the next generation of leaders.

Congratulations to all of our members on an outstanding year. We are proud of everything our students have accomplished and are excited for another big year ahead!

Today, 12 of our freshman and sophomore ag students traveled to the University of Arkansas to explore opportunities within the College of Agriculture! 🌱🐗

Students learned about programs in Food Science, Crop, Soil & Environmental Sciences, Horticulture, Sustainability, and Biosystems while participating in hands-on stations focused on turfgrass management, composting, alternative meat production, and more.

The trip gave students a chance to see what agriculture programs at the college level look like and learn more about potential career paths and opportunities available after high school.

Thank you to everyone at the university who helped organize and lead today’s activities and gave our students such a great experience!
