MITER Foundation

MITER Foundation The MI Charitable Foundation is a partner organization of MI Windows and Doors, LLC.

The MITER Foundation is a non-profit focused on the betterment of communities in which MITER Brands operates, as well as supporting a number of national organizations. The purpose of the Foundation is to provide monetary and volunteer support to local and national charitable organizations and community needs. Funds are raised by multiple, corporate level events such as the annual Charity Golf Out

ing and the Summer Concert Series, as well as by outreach committees at each of the six MI Windows and Doors locations. Each outreach committee organizes fundraising events to support our national beneficiaries as well as their local communities. From leading a painting event in partnership with the Four Diamonds fund, to putting teams together for charity softball tournaments, and from penny wars to sandwich sales, our committees are enabled and empowered to organize and participate in events they feel will add value to our efforts. In addition to fundraising and giving, our team members volunteer their time by assisting at food banks, helping to landscape for Homes for Our Troops, supporting local activities, and more. We are proud to provide financial support to both the Four Diamonds Fund and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, as both organizations unceasingly fight to end childhood cancer. Their efforts in research and treatment, as well as their promise that no family will face financial burdens for their child’s treatment is are monumental testaments to the integrity of both organizations. Our partnership with Homes for our Troops allows us to provide the windows that are installed in the specially-adapted homes the HFOT builds across the country. This partnership is not only a privilege, but a duty, as it allows us to play a small part in honoring our Veterans who have sacrificed so much for our freedom. We would like to thank our business partners, community members, and team members for the continued support of our charitable efforts.

Some partnerships leave a lasting mark on a community—and our relationship with Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters is one of them. 💙

As we recently looked back through local records and memories shared by longtime team members, we discovered that our involvement with BBBS dates all the way back to the mid-1980s. What began with Bowl for Kids’ Sake at Plaza Bowl in Prescott grew into decades of support, connection, and community impact.

Former Better Bilt team members still remember those early bowling events fondly—not just for the fundraising, but for the camaraderie and friendly competition between departments as teams came together for a great cause. From storm door donations in the 90s to team sponsorships throughout the years, this partnership has continued to grow right alongside our community.

Today, Bowl for Kids’ Sake lives on at Antelope Lanes in Prescott Valley, carrying forward a tradition that has now spanned nearly 40 years.

It’s incredibly meaningful to reflect on the generations of team members, volunteers, and community partners who helped make this legacy possible—and we’re proud to continue supporting the life-changing work of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Prescott.

Our Venice Committee and PGT team recently spent time together at a pajama rolling party in partnership with the Casey Cares Foundation, preparing over 300 brand-new pairs of pajamas for children facing critical illnesses.

It was a simple, hands-on way to support an organization that creates moments of comfort, joy, and normalcy for families going through incredibly difficult times.

We’re grateful to work alongside partners like Casey Cares and to play a small part in helping bring a bit of warmth to the children and families they serve. 💙

Walking with purpose, for something bigger than ourselves. 💙

Our Phoenix Outreach Committee recently took part in the Breakthrough T1D Walk, joining a community united in the fight to find a cure for type 1 diabetes.

We’re proud of our team for showing up, supporting this important cause, and standing alongside those working toward a future without type 1 diabetes.

Sometimes the hardest part of rebuilding isn’t what was lost—it’s what’s left behind.

In Rowena, Oregon, families impacted by the 2025 fire have been ready to move forward, but dangerous, fire-damaged trees have stood in the way. Through the work of Team Rubicon - West Branch volunteers, that’s starting to change.

Our Portland Committee is proud to support these efforts—helping clear the path so families can finally take that first step toward rebuilding and returning home.

We’re grateful to play a small part in helping that moment become possible. 💙

The Gold Star Families Memorial Monument at the Pennsylvania State Capitol has officially been dedicated—serving as a tribute to the families who carry the legacy of loved ones lost in service to our country.

In partnership with the Woody Williams Foundation, this space now stands for reflection, remembrance, and gratitude. It’s incredibly meaningful to see this project come to life and ensure these sacrifices are never forgotten.
We’re honored to be part of preserving this legacy. 💙

On April 17, 7 Profiles Foundation team members rolled up their sleeves for a spring cleanup effort.

Four volunteers covered 4 miles of roadway along Route 209 in front of the plant, while three others cleaned the entire plant grounds. Together, they made a visible impact in the community we’re proud to be part of.

We’re grateful for a team that shows up and gives back.

A Gold Star Family carries a legacy of sacrifice we can never fully repay, but we can ensure it is never forgotten.

For the past several years, we’ve been honored to partner with the Woody Williams Foundation to bring a Gold Star Families Memorial Monument to the Pennsylvania State Capitol grounds. The monument was placed last October, and we will gather on April 23 for its official dedication and unveiling.

This milestone reflects years of collaboration, including support from our Pennsylvania team and East golf outing community through bench dedications.

Open to the public. All are welcome.

🏀 What a great day for a great cause!

On April 16, Temecula hosted its very first Basketball Shoot Out to support the MITER Foundation. Thanks to everyone who participated and cheered us on, we raised $175 and had an amazing time bringing the community together.

We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait to see how this event grows in the future! 💙

A home is more than four walls—it’s the space around it, too. 🇺🇸

Our Tacoma Committee recently volunteered with Homes For Our Troops, spending the day landscaping a future home and helping bring the entire property to life. From fresh sod to newly shaped beds, every detail added to a space that will soon welcome a veteran home.

With so many volunteers showing up to lend a hand, the work moved quickly—but the impact will last for years to come.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support the Wildlife Center of Southwest Florida —an incredible organization making a meaningful difference right in their community. 🌿

Recently, a small but mighty volunteer group came together for a hands-on day of impact. From clearing vines in the fawn enclosure to prevent entanglement, to planting hibiscus in the gopher tortoise habitat, and restoring a native plant garden after storm damage—every effort helped create a safer, healthier environment for the animals in their care.

One especially memorable moment included helping transport a recovering bald eagle back to the center, where it will continue its rehabilitation journey before returning to the wild. 🦅

We’re proud to support partners like The Wildlife Center of Southwest Florida and the important work they do every day—and we look forward to seeing what’s ahead, including their upcoming otter habitat project.

We were truly honored to be part of the 2026 InVINCEable Gala—an evening that beautifully reflected the power of love, compassion, and community. ✨

Being in a room filled with people who care so deeply was a powerful reminder that no family should have to walk the journey of childhood cancer alone. Every conversation, every embrace, and every shared moment carried a sense of comfort and support that will last far beyond the evening.

We’re grateful to stand alongside InVINCEable Foundation and all those who are dedicated to surrounding these families with strength, warmth, and hope when they need it most. 💙
