The MITER Foundation is a non-profit focused on the betterment of communities in which MITER Brands operates, as well as supporting a number of national organizations. The purpose of the Foundation is to provide monetary and volunteer support to local and national charitable organizations and community needs. Funds are raised by multiple, corporate level events such as the annual Charity Golf Out
ing and the Summer Concert Series, as well as by outreach committees at each of the six MI Windows and Doors locations. Each outreach committee organizes fundraising events to support our national beneficiaries as well as their local communities. From leading a painting event in partnership with the Four Diamonds fund, to putting teams together for charity softball tournaments, and from penny wars to sandwich sales, our committees are enabled and empowered to organize and participate in events they feel will add value to our efforts. In addition to fundraising and giving, our team members volunteer their time by assisting at food banks, helping to landscape for Homes for Our Troops, supporting local activities, and more. We are proud to provide financial support to both the Four Diamonds Fund and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, as both organizations unceasingly fight to end childhood cancer. Their efforts in research and treatment, as well as their promise that no family will face financial burdens for their child’s treatment is are monumental testaments to the integrity of both organizations. Our partnership with Homes for our Troops allows us to provide the windows that are installed in the specially-adapted homes the HFOT builds across the country. This partnership is not only a privilege, but a duty, as it allows us to play a small part in honoring our Veterans who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.
