You may drop them in any Lion's eyeglass recycling box or at our monthly Pancake breakfast on the 2nd Sunday of the month.

Bear River FFA Ag Boosters dinner is coming up June 6th! They raise funds to support the over 400 students in Bear River FFA. They are looking for people who would like to donate an item for the silent or live auction or a dessert for the dessert auction. Tickets are also available for sale, scan the QR code on the flier for more info.

Our Lions club sponsors Reading Contests at four local elementary schools every year to help improve literacy rates for students.
During a specific timeframe, (usually one month) students read books and for every book read they get a ticket that goes into a random drawing.
Our club members go to the school when the contest is over to draw the winning tickets.
Six prizes of $50 are presented at each school, usually one drawing is held for each grade level.
Thanks to a matching grant of $500 from District 4-C5's Lions Education Foundation we award $1200 in prize money.
We created this project when Past International President of Lions Wayne Madden created the Reading Action Program in 2012. He challenged Lions Clubs woldwide to step up and do something to improve literacy locally, regionally and worldwide.
Our club answered his call to action 14 years ago and has encouraged thousands of young people to read more books, which improves their lives.
PIP Wayne Madden passed away in 2020, but his legacy project continues, especially in District 4-C5 where many clubs continue to sponsor their Reading Contests.
At our last club meeting fellow Lion Kevin said this project exemplifies why we are Lions, and continue to be Lions.
We welcome new members.
