The charter of the CBA is to promote bluegrass, old-time, g

ospel, and traditional music. Carl Pagter, cofounder of the CBA and CBA member number 1, is an old-time banjo player and singer. The Old-Time Music Gathering is intended to bring that commitment to old-time music to life at our annual Father's Day Festival and to make the festival welcoming and fun for old-time musicians. We have at least two old-time headliner bands, more bands on Vern's stage and as California showcase bands, two square dances with headliner bands, and a beautiful and comfortable place to jam all week at the Music Camp and the festival.
