Our Christmas project is in full swing, and we still have over 70 mamas and their kiddos in need of adoption!!

Below, you will find each families information, and their family number. We will continue adding families as they come in. If you would like to adopt a family, or even *part* of a family, please text ADOPT and the FAMILY NUMBER to (530) 648-7718. We will work as fast as we can to send you their information!

Gifts are due NO LATER THAN December 21, the earlier the better so we can ensure all families receive a beautiful Christmas.

🎄Christmas 2025 sign ups are OPEN!🎄

It's the most wonderful time of the year, and as we enter into our NINTH Christmas season, sign ups for our Christmas program are officially open to recipients AND donors.

For the first time, in order to accomodate the ever-growing size of our program, we are accepting sign ups for our recipients and donors at the same time. We hope that this will allow us to speed up the assignment process in October. BOTH links are shared below.

RECIPIENTS - our program is open to recent domestic violence survivors and their children. Once you have filled out the application, you will receive a link to an intake form to complete the acceptance process. Apply here:

DONORS - Our process has been created to give you as many giving options as possible. You may sign up to adopt a child, children, an entire family, etc. Other options such as financially sponsoring the shopping for a family, holiday dinners, specific gifts etc. are also available. Local Businesses - WE NEED YOU!

Believe it or not, Christmas prep is well under way as we head into our ninth year serving our local community. However, we have grown tremendously over the years, and we need your help!

Our Christmas project is now large enough, that we need an assembly location. Our small team collectively drove over 20 THOUSAND MILES in December alone last year, to ensure that the gifts were picked up and dropped off in a timely manner. But that isn't feasible again.

We have the opportunity to have an assembly location, for over a third less than typical cost. This will allow us to provide Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinner distributions, as well as provide over 100 families with their Christmas gifts.

We are looking for local businesses willing to make a tax deductible gift of $500 to help provide this space. To give, please text SPONSOR to (530) 648-7718.

As a thank you, your business will be included in the official "Shopping List" sent out to all the donors (over 600 participants!) who adopt our families this year through the program, encouraging them to do as much of their shopping through your business as possible.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED ASAP

We can't believe we're halfway through the year, and it's officially time to start prepping for our ninth year of... CHRISTMAS!!

This year, we are able to go back to the same process we used for our first 5 years, making it easier than ever for our donors and recipients, with some much needed upgrades to keep the program doing what we do best - making the entire Holiday season better than ever for our moms and their kiddos.

We are finally doing something we've been asked to do for years - accepting volunteers to participate in putting this on!

There will still be some limitations due to the confidentiality of our program, but we are looking for all hands on deck to make 2025 the best year we've ever had.

This year's season will include -
🦃 a Friendsgiving dinner for our participants, with a Thanksgiving dinner for them to take home as well.
🎅 Christmas gifts for all our moms and children
☃️ Christmas Party for all our families, complete with a Christmas dinner to take home, and Christmas Cookie baskets for Santa.

There's plenty to do from home, and lots of help needed on the road and on site as the days get closer. Volunteers will need to be able to pass a background check prior to helping.

As requested, here are the remaining families available for adoption! Gifts will need to delivered by NEXT Sunday, preferably, to allow us time for delivery. If you would like to sponsor a specific family, you may do so with a tax deductible donation through our venmo, and our Elves will shop for them.
