The Altar Show, Renewal and Remembrance A community-based non-profit organization that provides a free annual exhibition inspired by Dia de los Muertos.

The Altar Show, Renewal and Remembrance, is a grass roots arts organization. This annual exhibition, inspired by Days of the Dead, is a gift from the Altaristas to the community. Altars are created as site-spefic installaltions. Historically altars were made to honor departed loved ones. Today in our show altars range from the traditional to the ridiculous, with themes limited only by the creators

' imaginations. The Altar Show provides the maker a safe place to renew and remember, and the viewer an opportunity to experience a sacred place.
