We are still here. And we’re still fighting for wildfire resilience in Nevada County.

This past year brought challenges none of us expected - major funding withdrawn, operational hurdles, and the loss of essential tools.

But our mission hasn’t changed.

Our team and volunteers continue:
• 1,600-acre Deer Creek Shaded Fuel Break
• Home Hardening Program serving ~150 residents
• Supporting 130+ Firewise USA® communities

And we’re not stopping.

This Giving Tuesday, we need your help.
Your donation keeps our doors open and ensures these life-saving programs continue.

Thank you for supporting community-driven wildfire resilience.

We are here because of you.

📆Aug. 14, 6–7:30 PM, Seaman’s Lodge, Pioneer Park, Nevada City

You’ll hear about local greenhouse gas emissions and share what community assets—like parks, schools, or neighborhoods—you think should be prioritized.

Learn more:
