Relay For Life of Grass Lake Relay For Life of Grass Lake is about HOPE! We hope that one day soon the horrible disease, cancer, will be a thing of the past. Since Mr.

Relay started in Grass Lake in the year 2006 as a direct result of Coach Joe Bechtel and his family's dedication to fight back against cancer. Joe was a local celebrity to our small town - Teacher, Coach, and Friend. Bechtel was the head football coach, we hold our Relay in the Fall during one of Grass Lake's home football games. We continue to fight back as cancer has challenged or taken more and more of our residents, friends and family members. Join us for a great cause and have a great time.
