Winter Youth Retreat exists to give young people a place to come away, be strengthened, and be grounded in the Word—and WYR 2025 was no exception.

This year, 172 campers gathered from 24 U.S. states—including Alaska, Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, Nebraska, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin—and from two countries, the United States and Canada, with attendees joining us from multiple Canadian provinces.

Each camper brought something special, and every one of you is deeply needed in this generation to fulfill God’s purpose. We pray you left encouraged, strengthened, and equipped for the journey ahead.

Know that you are prayed for, loved, and always welcome. Until next year—we will miss you. 🤍
If you ever need anything, we’re only a message away.

Day 4: Closing Day at Winter Youth Retreat 🤍

After a late curfew that gave campers just a little more time to laugh, talk, and soak up those last-night connections (because no one ever wants the fellowship to end), the morning came quickly but hearts were ready. We gathered one final time for group devotions with our incredible group leaders, and it was beautifully bittersweet. The conversations were rich and honest, filled with encouragement, reflection, and moments where everyone had space to speak, listen, and be strengthened by one another.

We then came together for our final morning session led by Bro. Barry Coffey, who shared practical teaching on stewardship, a truth deeply valued by God and often overlooked in today’s world. We were reminded that faithfulness in what God places in our hands matters, and that how we live, serve, and care for what He entrusts to us reflects our walk with Him.

After our last session, we sang, prayed, and released the campers to pack up and head home. Goodbyes were shared, gratitude filled the room for all God had done, and while some continued the fellowship at the after-party at Literal Life Church, others began their journeys home.

Day 3 at Winter Youth Retreat 2025 🤍

We started the day with group devotions led by our wonderful group leaders, setting a prayerful and focused foundation for the day. The morning continued with Bro. Rapp Crook sharing on “Looking at God’s Will for My Life,” bringing thoughtful direction and encouragement. After lunch, we were treated to a hilarious and clever skit put on by some of our campers - full of laughs and great timing - which led perfectly into an afternoon session with Bro. Paul on practical teaching about courtship.

As the evening approached, everyone dressed in their retreat best and prepared for our banquet night. We enjoyed a beautiful dinner together, rich fellowship around the tables, and a fun group game that had everyone smiling. From there, we made our way back to the Tabernacle for evening service, where heartfelt congregational worship flowed seamlessly into special songs, including worship led by the WYR 2025 Camp Choir.

Bro. Trevor then preached on “Becoming Entertainment,” a sobering and timely message reminding us to lay aside masks and outward displays, and instead allow true inward transformation of the Holy Spirit...becoming the genuine identity of Christ.

As the night came to a close, we gathered in the cafeteria to ring in the New Year together. Songs, laughter, and cheers echoed across the campus.

What a truly blessed time we shared. ✨

Day Two at Winter Youth Retreat 2025 🤍

The day began with group devotions and morning teaching on “What’s the truth about you?”setting our hearts and minds on what God desires of us.

The afternoon was filled with a lively volleyball tournament, free-time fellowship, and choir practice, as friendships continued to grow.

We closed the evening with a powerful service, beautiful worship and a message from Bro. Trevor titled “No Weapon.” The night ended simply, gathered together over an after-service snack.

Day two complete. Grateful for the Word, the fellowship, and what God is doing among us. 🙏✨

Day One at Winter Youth Retreat 2025 🤍🩵

What a blessing it’s been to welcome everyone in! From registration and getting settled, to meeting bunkmates and sharing our first meal together. Retreat is officially underway.

Despite stormy weather, strong winds, and longer travel for some, everyone arrived safely. New friendships were already forming, laughter filled the lodge, and hearts were coming together in fellowship.

We ended the evening with a church service where the Word was preached, followed by icebreaker games and time to simply enjoy being together.

We’re thankful for every camper who made the journey and look forward to the days ahead , growing together, enjoying the ministry, and striving for the excellence set before us in the Word of God.

Day one down. We’re expectant for what’s to come. 🙏🏼✨
