Friends and families – we need your help.

$3,000 is what we need to raise before the 2026–2027 school year starts.

This money helps immigrant families enroll their children in school – with translation, document help, and one-on-one support.

No amount is too small. Please give if you can. Share if you cannot.

AI is transforming the philanthropic world — and we’re proud to be part of that change.

For too long, navigating a new country has been one of the biggest barriers immigrant communities face. Complex systems, language gaps, and fear have kept too many people from accessing the resources they deserve.

That’s why, with the power of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Claude by Anthropic , we built a chatbot designed to change that.

🌎 Regardless of your immigration status, you can now navigate the American system — confidently and safely.

Our community members can ask any question to help them integrate into their new country:

✅ Healthcare & social services
✅ Education & school enrollment
✅ Workers’ rights & employment
✅ Housing & tenant protections
✅ Legal resources & public benefits

💡 This is what AI for good looks like — technology meeting humanity, breaking down barriers, and empowering the most vulnerable among us.

Because access to information is access to opportunity. And everyone deserves that — no matter where they come from.

🚨 WINTER STORM WARNING for DFW | Community Safety Alert 🚨

The National Weather Service is predicting a major winter storm across our area from Friday afternoon, January 23rd, through Monday morning, January 26th. Forecasts indicate prolonged freezing temperatures, with a potential mix of freezing rain, sleet, snow, and dangerous ice.

At SIPA, the safety and well-being of our community is our top priority. As conditions become hazardous, please take steps now to prepare.

❄️ Remember the 4 P's of Cold Weather Safety:

✔️ PEOPLE: Dress in warm layers, limit time outdoors, and check on vulnerable family, friends, and neighbors. Keep space heaters safe.
✔️ PETS: Bring all pets indoors. If they must be outside, ensure they have insulated shelter and unfrozen water.
✔️ PIPES: Insulate exposed pipes and let indoor faucets drip slowly to prevent freezing and bursting.
✔️ PLANTS: Bring potted plants inside or cover outdoor plants with fabric.

Please stay informed through official sources like the National Weather Service, and avoid unnecessary travel once the storm begins. Let's look out for one another.

Share this information with your networks to help keep everyone safe.

On this , we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by recommitting to the work of building the "Beloved Community" right here in Texas.

Dr. King’s dream was one of justice, equality, and dignity for all. At SIPA, this dream fuels our daily mission to empower Sub-Saharan African immigrants and refugees. We believe that true community is built when every person can thrive without having to hide who they are, where cultural heritage is a strength, and integration means adding your voice to the chorus, not losing your song.

Today, we reflect on the power of collective action and service. We celebrate the strength and resilience of the families we serve, who embody the courage to build a new life with hope. And we reaffirm our commitment to creating pathways out of poverty, fostering healing from trauma, and advocating for systems that recognize the inherent dignity of every individual.

The dream lives on in the work we do together.
