👉 Our Links: https://linktr.ee/dfwpugrescue Mission Statement: DFW Pug Rescue Club, Inc. was formed for the purpose of providing rescue, care and adoption of unwanted, mistreated or homeless pugs. DFW Pug Rescue Club was founded in early 1996 and incorporated in July 1997 as a charitable, non-profit corporation. We are one of the largest pug rescue organizations in the United States having rescued and placed over 8,500 pugs. Veterinary care is our biggest expense averaging $220,000 a year. All pugs rescued are taken immediately to the vet where they are examined, tested and treated for parasites, infections, vaccinated, sterilized, and microchipped before being placed in a foster or permanent home. DFWPRC is an all-volunteer, foster-based organization — there are no paid positions. We do not have a staging area to hold our rescue pugs. We depend on the generosity of our volunteers to provide foster homes until permanent homes can be located. You can help to promote our mission and be a part of this exciting volunteer opportunity. Trulu is such a cutie! Trulu’s love languages are quality time and snacks. She is a happy, attentive pug who likes to watch what humans are up to. She has a pretty pale fawn coat and huge brown eyes! Trulu is 3 years old.

Trulu is house, leash, and crate trained! She loves her crate and walks very gently and politely on the leash. Trulu loves walks and people but can be shy at first. With just a few minutes of patience, Trulu opens up to new people and is back to her usual snackish, cuddly self. Trulu would thrive as a solo pug or in a home with chill animals and older children who are experienced with pets.

Trulu is a sweet, silly shadow once she gets out of her shell. Please apply to meet cutie pie Trulu!

Rookee is the “most perfect, happy, well-behaved dog” his fosters have ever had! Rookee is a happy, chill, gentle pug who is always happy to greet everyone. He likes to loaf, curl up like a seal, and hang out in the laundry! Rookee is 2 years old.

Rookee is house, crate, and leash-trained. He is polite at mealtime and sleeps so well through the night. Rookee is one of our most well-rounded pugs who loves other dogs, kids, and adults. He is the friendliest pug who could flourish in so many homes!
