Make something shiny. Wednesday, October 28th at 7 PM, Jewelry Making Club is back for an evening of beads, wire, creativity, and wearable art.

Got something that needs a little love? Tuesday, October 27th at 7 PM, Sashiko Visible Mending Club is back to turn worn clothing into something worth showing off.

Bring your project and stay awhile. Wednesday, October 21st at 6:30 PM, Fiber Arts Club is getting together for an evening of making, chatting, and working alongside fellow fiber artists.

Sculpture has never been just about making something look interesting. Thursday, October 8th at 2 PM, join Joy Sperling for a gallery talk exploring sculpture’s changing role in our world and how artists have challenged ideas of power, tradition, and culture.

Bring a tune, grab a drink, and settle in. Wednesday, October 7th at 6:30 PM, Irish Music Club is back for an evening of traditional Irish, Celtic, and North Atlantic tunes, friendly jamming, and good company.

Bring an instrument or just bring yourself. All skill levels are welcome, and no registration is needed.

Ty Williams is back to share more Zine magic on October 4th at 3pm! With Ty’s guidance and a collection of vintage typewriters, you’ll be well on your way to creating your own unique publication. Learn specialized binding, art, and design techniques that will set your Zine apart. By the end of this workshop, you’ll have your very own amazing handmade Zine!

Some events stand out as an inspiring reminder of why what we’re doing for our community at the arts center is so special.

Our second annual Live on Broadway Opera Concert in collaboration with Denison was one of those events! Voices soared into the evening air as Denison families, Granville neighbors, and opera lovers from across Ohio gathered in the heart of the village. The weather was glorious, the Denison student singers were brilliantly amazing, the free cookies and drinks were delicious, and everywhere you looked, someone was smiling.

The bond between Denison and the Granville Center for the Arts brings campus and community together in the best way possible. We’re grateful for the joy we create together.
