💚 The Jolly H’s Want to Give Back! 💚

As we get ready to start planning a new 4-H year, the Jolly H’s are looking for new ways to give back to our community!

We’d love to find opportunities for our members to learn, serve, and make a difference right here in our community. We’d especially love to hear from local organizations, groups, businesses, or community members who may know of a need or opportunity that our 4-H club could help with.

Maybe it’s helping with a local event, lending a hand with a project, doing some cleanup, helping an organization, partnering with another club or something we haven’t even thought of!

Is there a need in our community that you think the Jolly H’s could help with? We’d love to hear your ideas! Please send us a message and let us know. While we may not be able to take on every opportunity, we’d love to hear what’s out there and see where we might be able to help.

We’re excited to find new ways for our members to get involved, learn the value of service, and give back to our community! 💚

From the animal barns to the fairhouse, Jolly H’s kids could be found everywhere at the Burnett County Ag Society Fair! They brought their animals, projects, creativity, hard work, and 4-H spirit to the fair, and we couldn’t be prouder of the way they represented our club and our community.

One of my favorite moments was at the Little Britches showing, where all 9 entries in Beef were Jolly H’s girls! 💚🐮

Our member's hard work could be seen throughout the fair. Behind every project, animal, photograph, craft, baked good, and fairhouse entry were hours of learning, practicing, creating, and preparing. These kids put in the work, stepped outside their comfort zones, shared what they had learned, and proudly showed our community what they can do.

We are so proud of all of our Jolly H’s members and grateful for the families and community members who support them along the way. It takes a lot of time, effort, and encouragement to make a fair like this happen, and our kids continue to make that investment worthwhile. 🍀

Of course, the fair wasn't all work! There were carnival rides, pedal pulls, grandstand events, laughter, time with friends and family, and plenty of memories made along the way. Those are the moments that make fair week so special.

We’re proud to be part of a community that gives young people the opportunity to learn, work hard, try new things, and share their accomplishments with others.

Grantsburg Community, we’d love to see YOU at the fair this weekend supporting our Jolly H’s 4-H’ers!
Our fair may be small, but the dedication, hard work, and heart these kids have poured into their projects is anything but small. They’ve worked hard all year, and they would love the chance to show you what they’ve accomplished!
Come out, cheer them on, ask about their projects, and celebrate all their hard work. Your support means so much to these young people!
Come to the fair this weekend and help us show our Jolly H’s 4-H’ers how proud our community is of them! 💙🐷🐄🐑🐴🌾

Stop out and see the Jolly H’s 4-H Club at Burnett Dairy’s Dairy Day today!

We’ll be serving brats and hot dog meals until 4:00 PM. Grab some lunch, enjoy the festivities, and support our club while you’re there. 🌭

The Jolly H's held our monthly meeting at the fairgrounds last night, focusing on rabbit and poultry showing. We were fortunate to have Jill Glover share her wealth of knowledge about rabbit and poultry showing, as well as showmanship skills.

Members received handouts with detailed information on showing and scoring both rabbits and poultry, along with Cloverbud project journals.

It was both a fun and educational evening, and our members gained valuable knowledge as they prepare for fair season. Here are a few photos from the meeting to show what we've been up to!

We’ll be serving Walking Tacos, Pop and Water!

Beautiful spring weather and a great group of 4-H kids made for a perfect day for our spring Adopt-a-highway clean-up 🌱☀️

There’s something special about coming together to take care of the place we call home. A few hours of hard work goes a long way in leaving our community just a little bit better than we found it.

Proud of these kids and their willingness to give back!

The annual fair auction is coming up on May 13th! These funds help support our fair and all the amazing opportunities it brings to our kids and community.

For many of our 4-H youth, the county fair is the highlight of their year and quite possibly their favorite part of 4-H. Your support helps make those experiences possible.

The Jolly H's will be there running the food table, so be sure to stop by, grab something to eat, and say hi to the kids.

We love seeing our members bring what they are learning into 4-H! These three performed “The Midwest Song” today created by their teacher to help them learn the states and capitals of the Midwest.

A huge shout out to Mrs. Feit for coming out today to cheer them on. It means so much to these kids when someone shows up on their own time and it does not go unnoticed.
