🏢 STRATEGIC PILLAR 5: SUPPORTIVE & COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS
Entrepreneurship & Small Business Development
A strong economy isn’t built through business recruitment alone. It also requires investing in the businesses, entrepreneurs, properties, and partnerships already within our communities.
The Cibola Communities Economic Development Foundation is committed to strengthening the local business ecosystem and creating an environment where entrepreneurs and small businesses have greater opportunities to start, grow, and invest.
Through this strategic pillar, CCEDF will focus on:
🔹 Supporting Entrepreneurs & Small Businesses
Connecting businesses with technical assistance, resources, funding opportunities, training, and partners that can help turn ideas into sustainable enterprises.
🔹 Activating Vacant & Underutilized Properties
Working collaboratively to identify opportunities to redevelop vacant and underutilized commercial properties, attract new investment, and return properties to productive use.
🔹 Strengthening Main Street & Local Business Districts
Supporting efforts that encourage downtown revitalization, business retention, entrepreneurship, property redevelopment, and stronger commercial districts throughout Cibola County.
🔹 Building a Connected Economic Ecosystem
Economic development works best when businesses, property owners, local governments, educational institutions, workforce partners, nonprofits, and community organizations are working toward shared goals.
Our objective is clear: strengthen the local business ecosystem, encourage entrepreneurship, activate underutilized assets, and create more opportunities for private investment and economic growth.
Business attraction brings new investment into our region. Supporting entrepreneurship and existing businesses helps ensure that growth also happens from within.
Building Stronger Communities. Creating Opportunities. Growing Our Future.
