Because of the amazing support from our community this week, our inventory is much lower than expected and we will NOT be attending the Saturday Market.

TODAY is our last day selling plants at the high school, so make sure to stop by before they’re gone...you don’t want to miss out! 🌸🌱

💙💛 What an incredible day for Hidden Valley FFA! 💛💙

Yesterday we had a fantastic time at both the District Ag Sales Contest and the Willamette County Youth Welding Competition — and our students represented HV with pride!

🌟 Beginning Ag Sales – 1st Place Team!
Congratulations to our Beginning Ag Sales team of Bryce Foote, Kaylee Brockman, Ezra Rosenberg, and Miles Mettler for taking home 1st place!

🌟 Advanced Ag Sales – 2nd Place Team!
Our Advanced Ag Sales team of Ashlyn Falkenhagen, Campbell Meade, Lily Manderscheid, and Madi Hogan earned 2nd place and are moving on to State next weekend!

🏅 Top Individual Placings in Ag Sales:

• 7th – Campbell Meade
• 8th – Alex Shearer

🔥 Welding Competition:
At the Willamette County Youth Welding Competition, Austin Waters earned 3rd place on Mig Welding!

We are so proud of every student who competed, placed, and represented Hidden Valley FFA with excellence. Way to go, Mustangs! 💪🐴

🌾💙 Hidden Valley FFA Visits Madrona Elementary! 💙🌾

Yesterday, some of our Hidden Valley FFA members brought a mini petting zoo to Madrona Elementary! 🐐🐇🐓
Elementary students got the chance to meet and pet our animals, ask great questions, and even show off their fun costumes! 🎃👻

We love getting to share a little bit of agriculture with our younger students and spark their curiosity about animals and FFA. Thank you, Madrona Elementary, for having us — and to our FFA members for representing Hidden Valley so well! 🌟

🌾 Attention Ag Parents! 🌾

We’re excited to announce that after-school practices for the FFA Ag Sales Team will begin this coming Monday, October 20th!

Students interested in competing in the FFA Agricultural Sales competition are encouraged to attend. This event helps students develop real-world skills in marketing, customer service, teamwork, and professional sales presentations. Students will work together to design a product, create a sales plan, and present to a panel of judges—just like in a real business setting!

📅 Practice Schedule (Held at the Ag Barn):

Mondays & Wednesdays: 4:00–6:00 PM
🚌 An activity bus will be available to bring students home after these practices.

Wednesdays (Late Option): 6:00–7:30 PM
For students involved in sports or other after-school activities. Please note: students must arrange their own ride home after this late session.

👉 Students may attend one or all sessions each week—whatever best fits their schedule.

📍 Competition Date:
Wednesday, November 12th at the Jackson County Expo

All students are welcome to participate and try out to be part of the “official” team that will represent Hidden Valley FFA!

Reminder our annual auction is THIS SATURDAY at 5:30 pm in the Floral Building at the Grants Pass Fairgrounds. Tickets are $20 presale or $25 at the door and include a tri-tip dinner.

Come and join us THIS Saturday for the FFA Auction at 5:30 pm at the Grants Pass Fairgrounds, Floral Building! We'll be having a nice Tri-Tip dinner, with seasoned cut up potatoes, salad and a dinner roll.

Please let me know if you need to purchase any tickets. Let's make this a fantastic auction for the kids...please help spread the word!

All proceeds of the auction help with travel expenses, competitions, scholarships, and updating facilities.
