Kairos is proud to support Tomorrow Needs You, NBC5 and United Way of Jackson County’s Emmy Award-winning su***de prevention and mental health awareness initiative.
In this powerful story, Rogue Valley Family YMCA CEO/Executive Director Brad Russell shares how the loss of his mother to su***de shaped his life—and how counseling, family, the outdoors, service to others, and self-compassion have been part of his healing journey.
Brad’s message is one worth sharing: be kind to others, but remember to be kind to yourself, too. Healing can take many forms, and sometimes the most important thing we can do is listen, understand, and remind one another that support is available.
We’re grateful to NBC5, United Way of Jackson County, Brad Russell, and everyone involved with Tomorrow Needs You for continuing these important conversations across Southern Oregon. Watch Brad’s story and learn more about the Tomorrow Needs You initiative below.
