Community Event: Max's Mission presents the 2025 Medford Overdose Awareness Day on Saturday, September 27th, 2025, from 1:00PM - 4:00PM in Hawthorne Park, Medford.

This will be the 9th year that Max's Mission and many community partners will gather to remember those lost to overdose and fentanyl poisoning, distribute free naloxone and train on its use and provide an opportunity to connect to the many services available in Southern Oregon. This event will honor lives lost, support those still struggling and raise awareness around substance use and recovery. https://www.maxsmission.org/overdose-awareness-day

Community Event: Max's Mission presents The Purple Chair Project - honoring lives lost to overdose. On Saturday, September 13, at 11am, paint and decorate a chair in memory of someone lost to overdose or fentanyl poisoning. The chairs will be displayed at Overdose Awareness Day on Saturday, September 27th in Hawthorne Park in Medford.
