A huge thank‑you to our HFS volunteer for being a wonderful Hearts for Seniors volunteer companion to one of our lovely seniors, who just celebrated her 100th birthday! 🎉✨ And the dog, Birdie, is clearly excited about the outdoor get‑together too!

Just a quick reminder about our upcoming Goodwill Fundraiser! 💙

On **June 26th**, the Goodwill Mobile Donation Trailer will be at **Rivers of Life Foursquare Church (450 SW J St.)**. For every pound donated, Goodwill gives **$0.25 back** to support our Hearts for Seniors and Safe Families programs.

Yet another successful yard workday! 💛🌿

When one of our seniors reached out with concerns about the condition of her yard ahead of fire season, we knew we had to step in. A team of amazing volunteers showed up and got right to work, tackling the tall, unruly grass and helping make her home safer.

Our volunteers worked so hard, and we are incredibly grateful for the compassionate people in our community who show up when it matters most. 🌻🙌

Thank you, Hope Alive Foursquare Church, for hosting such a fun and Spirit‑filled Ladies Night Out last Friday the 15th! 💛✨ Our Grants Pass team and one of our senior clients had a wonderful time connecting, praying, and fellowshipping with so many amazing women in our Josephine County community. We’re grateful for spaces like this that bring people together in encouragement and joy!

We currently have three young men, ages 10–19, who are in need of a positive male mentor. Lately we’ve seen an uptick in young guys looking for guidance, encouragement, and a safe adult who can help them set goals and offer a supportive listening ear.

Mentoring a teen doesn’t just impact the young person — it strengthens the entire family. When a teen feels supported, encouraged, and connected, it brings stability into the home, gives parents added support, and helps create a healthier environment for everyone.

We have a brand‑new 18‑year‑old who is just moving into her very first apartment. She’s starting out with almost nothing and could really use some support as she steps into this big new chapter. So far all that she has is a queen size mattress.

Her starter list includes:
• Pots & pans
• Dishes
• Bathroom & kitchen towels
• Pantry staples
• Baking dishes & cookie sheets
• Cleaning supplies
• Potholders
• Bedding
• Furniture
• And anything else you remember needing when you moved out on your own for the first time

Our team had such a humbling experience at the Disruptors Summit on the 7th and 8th of this month. 💛

We were honored to hear directly from trafficking survivors about their journeys, what it took to find freedom, and how we can continue supporting others facing similar situations. Their strength and resilience were deeply moving.

We were also grateful to stand alongside other organizations working tirelessly to keep people safe in our communities.
