🎓 Big congrats to our 2026 YPN Scholarship recipients!

The Grants Pass & Josephine County Chamber’s Young Professionals Network (YPN) proudly awarded two $1,000 scholarships this week, one to a standout senior at Grants Pass High School and one to an equally impressive student at North Valley High School. While our North Valley recipient is recovering from a medical procedure, her proud mom took the stage on her behalf, arms full of the many scholarships her daughter earned. 💙

Being in the room on scholarship night, surrounded by hopeful graduates, beaming families, and community partners, reminds us why we do what we do. These students already exemplify the entrepreneurial spirit we champion, and their next steps will shape the future of the Grants Pass business community.

Today’s YPN Professional Development Luncheon was a reminder that culture isn’t a buzzword, it’s personal.

Huge thanks to Scott Draper (Club Northwest) for leading a powerful conversation on Cultivating Culture, starting with the truth that “you are the culture,” and when you work on yourself, you work on culture. We talked about core values. The idea that culture eats strategy for breakfast, and asking the real question: Is our culture cultivating, purposeful, and hitting the mark?

A few standout takeaways:
• Be the best you (because that’s how culture changes)
• A/B/C goals—and that “C goal” that excites you and scares you
• Understanding comes from knowing again and again and again
• Even when you’re scared… keep doing it
• And maybe my favorite: “Color your chicken any color you want, respectfully,and let others color theirs too.”

Because at the end of the day: All that unites is love. All that divides is not. 💛
