Stop by this Saturday, October 10th for a fun end-of-season visit and experience autumn along the boardwalks.

Come have some fun between 12pm - 4pm:

🔥 Campfires & S’mores: We’ll have a campfire going and complimentary s’mores supplies ready for you to enjoy by the creek!

🎃 Costumes & Treats: Kids, adults, and dogs are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes and enjoy a stroll / walk along the creekside boardwalk.

Our volunteers will have some treats to give out. Complimentary s’mores and treats are available while supplies last.

Wilderness On Wheels officially closes for the winter season on October 16th, you can also book a stay before the season ends.

Consider skipping your takeout coffee one day this week and donating $5 to Wilderness On Wheels! When you do, it not only goes to maintaining our boardwalks and facility ~ but it covers the cost for those who are disabled and face financial barriers. Your donations allow them to come to WOW and stay overnight, giving them the gift of relaxation and a reprieve.

Travel is a privilege, and not everyone is so fortunate. Let's make it possible for more people to experience the healing power of nature.

The leaves look amazing. The aspens are showing reds, oranges, and yellows! 🎃 October is here.

Wilderness On Wheels is located about an hour from Denver and 1.5 hrs from Boulder.
🍁 Open to the public, day trips don’t need reservations! 7 days a week, 8am - 8pm
♿️ Our boardwalks, restrooms, cabins, campsites, and fishing are wheelchair accessible!
🐶 Dogs welcome, but must be leashed and owners are responsible for picking up after them. Thank you!
♥️ Donations encouraged, Wilderness On Wheels is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and your generous contributions allow us to maintain our facility and provide nature access to those who face barriers to outdoor recreation.

Leaf peeping at Wilderness On Wheels *UPDATE* as of 9/29 ~ the leaves still look amazing 🤩 and some areas aren’t even at peak yet. Come out this week, and likely this weekend, to see them!

Wilderness On Wheels is open to everyone. As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, we encourage and appreciate donations. Dogs are welcome and our accessible boardwalks are popular for kids in strollers. When you visit and donate, you’re supporting equal access to nature and keeping the Colorado wilderness open to all.
