In Celebration & Support Breast Cancer Awareness, Brianna & the Pink Tree ~ Making Strides for Breast Cancer! Brianna is 7 yrs old yet understands there are cancers that affect only women. Brianna asked if she could give money for the tree and got a quick lesson from one of the volunteers on just how important her donation was to cancer research. Maybe, just maybe, we will all see improvements in breast cancer treatments in Brianna's lifetime.

Grant Relay for Life Team will have a booth at the Mile Plus Yard Sale on Sat 9/24 at Peoples State Bank ~ we will have a "Fish for a Cure" game for children and other items for sale including bracelets in different colors to represent various types of cancer! Check out our booth at the Grant Mile Plus Yard Sale next Saturday 9/24! we are located at PSB and plan to have "Fish for a Cure" for kids ~ $1 ticket ~ kids get to throw out the fishing line and pull back a PRIZE! we also have other items for sale, all proceeds benefit American Cancer Society! stop by and see our beautiful bracelets in all the different cancer colors ~

WE DID IT!!! Thanks to everyone who participated in the 2011 Grant Relay for Life Team fundraiser ~ we successfully sold all the Grant Relay team tshirts and completed our fundraising year with a grand total of $3,508.00 ~ the Grant Team received a SILVER Sponsor Status from the American Cancer Society! next year we will aim for GOLD of course and our annual 3K/5K Walk will be held in cooler weather....see you in a few months!
