To our community:

Our hearts have been so heavy as we pray for the families impacted by the devastating tragedy this past weekend in Momence.

One thing about the Kankakee County community that has always been so special, we show up for each other.

We started the Marlene Rittmanic Memorial Outing to honor our friend, Marlene, and donate in her name to those who need our support.

Carissa’s mom, Gini, has been a consistent supporter of the Marlene Rittmanic Outing and has volunteered her time with us making sure the event is a success and that Marlene has been honored in the way she deserves.

We will be donating the proceeds from our BINGO EVENT to the families (Barrera, Chouinard, and Camargo) going through unimaginable times.

Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Turn pain into purpose and remember, just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.

As our hearts continue to grieve, we promise to Never Forget Sergeant Marlene Rittmanic. The void this devastating loss has created will never be filled. May those lucky enough to have known and been impacted by Marlene live their lives in a way that pays tribute to legacy Marlene created.
