A grant update on a grant awarded to the YME Trap Team from Coach Tom Schmidt 💫Thanks to the generosity of our donors and fundholders, the GFACF was able to invest $77,337 back into projects and events right here in the Granite Falls community.✨️" The Spring 2026 Trap season went very well. We had 18 kids on the team this spring. There were 3 preseason practice shoots and 5 Conference shoots with the State Shoot in Alexandria. The team placed 5th out of 9 teams in our conference with Maddie Weber getting 1st place in the conference for Girls. Another achievement for the team is that we had the highest ever Varsity level shooters at 8 out of the 18 kids. To achieve the Varsity Level the shooter must have a season average of 19 out of 25 targets. The $5000 Grant money went towards Ammunition and Range Fees for the Team. We are very grateful for your contribution."

Thanks to the generosity of our donors and fundholders, the GFACF was able to invest $77,337 back into projects and events right here in the Granite Falls community.✨️ The Granite Falls Fire Department was a grant recipient in 2025 and were able to update their radio system with the grant funding. Pictured are the new & old radios, as well as the GFFD officers!
