It is with a heavy heart that we announce a temporary pause in services.

Recently, I experienced a serious health scare that has required immediate attention and evaluation. While the exact cause is still being determined, I was informed that my "widow maker" artery is more than 70% blocked, and I continue to experience concerning symptoms, including numbness in my lips. I will be meeting with a neurologist in the near future for additional testing and to discuss potential treatment options, including the possibility of surgery.

In addition to these health challenges, it has become increasingly difficult to sustain our operations while we await approval of our 501(c)(3) status. Although our application has been submitted, the approval process can take a considerable amount of time. Without this designation, securing financial support and community partnerships has proven challenging. We were fortunate to receive assistance from a local grocery store for a period of time; however, following a change in management, that support has ended due to our current nonprofit status.

Please know that we remain committed to honoring all existing commitments. We will fulfill all current food box requests and complete any assistance efforts that are already underway.

This decision was not made lightly. Since our founding, we have dedicated ourselves wholeheartedly to serving our community, often working 18-hour days, seven days a week. Under the circumstances, continuing at that pace is simply not sustainable while addressing these serious health concerns.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and deeply appreciate the understanding, encouragement, and support that so many of you have shown throughout this journey. Your kindness and belief in our mission have meant more than words can express.

Thank you for standing with us, and we hope to return to serving our community as soon as circumstances allow.

🎉 Celebrating 4 Months of Service, Compassion, and Community 🎉

Today marks four incredible months since The Maier Humanitarian Group began its mission to serve those in need throughout our community.

What started as a vision to make a difference has grown into a movement powered by generosity, compassion, and the belief that every person deserves dignity, support, and hope. Over the past four months, we have provided essential resources, delivered assistance to families facing hardship, connected individuals with support services, and worked tirelessly to ensure that no one feels forgotten.

None of this would be possible without our dedicated volunteers, donors, community partners, and supporters who have stood beside us every step of the way. Your trust and commitment have allowed us to turn compassion into action and challenges into opportunities for positive change.

While we are proud of what has been accomplished, we know our work is just beginning. As we look ahead, we remain committed to expanding our impact, strengthening our community partnerships, and continuing to serve those who need us most.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Together, we are proving that when a community comes together with purpose and heart, meaningful change is possible.

Here's to four months of making a difference—and many more to come.
