Pound Pets Inc. Rescue We are a 501c3 no-kill animal rescue We are a Non Profit organization. We are fosterbased so we are constantly looking for foster homes.

Some of our dogs have to the be the only pets in the home so those foster homes are always needed. We have very few dogs due to the lack of foster homes. If you would like to foster, please complete a foster appliation. We can't save them if they have no place to go.

As I'm sure most of you remember, Baby Girl had a pretty big health scare not too long ago. She was suffering from bloat. When we went in to get that taken care of, they also found a node on her liver and that was removed. Later on that night while being monitored at the emergency vet in Collinsville, she began to bleed. They opened her back up and went in and stopped the bleed but also found that she had more nodes on her spleen, they removed that. That was a pretty big medical bill for us at about $14,000. But we think she's worth it. We want to thank and the BISSELL Pet Foundation for the grant to use towards baby girls medical bills!! We all loved watching Tatum's videos. I especially like watching them because it reminded me of my dog Yadi who could have been his twin. All of us here at pound pets are so sorry for the loss of Tatum. Thank you for sharing him with us. He always brought a smile to our face.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of PPI alumni Piper. This has been a rough couple weeks for us here at pound pets. Here's a little something her mom sent. We want to thank her awesome Momma Donna Curless, who is one of our fosters and Piper was her foster fail.

Good morning. Piper was 13 when she crossed over the rainbow Bridge. She was a sassy and independent little girl who had to do everything her way. She had 1 eye rupture and lost that eye and then developed a cataract in the other eye. Even though she was blind that didn't keep her down. She'd still be all over the house and backyard. She always knew when someone came over because she could smell them and she would bark non stop to let me know. My sassy little watchdog. She developed either cancer or a brain tumor and the last couple of weeks she would constantly be round and round In circles for hours. Even towards the end she was determined to keep going around and around in circles even when she was exhausted and falling down. My little girl was determined but I couldn't let her continue to hurt herself
It was hard but I couldn't bare to see her do that to herself and she deserves a better quality of life. I let her go to be with God and her brothers
I'm so grateful for pound pets to have given me the opportunity to be her momma 💓 ❤️

You will be missed sweet girl. Until we all meet again...🌈
