Are you due for your recommended screenings?? Reach out to your doctor to schedule a visit or to our office if you have any questions! 🩷

✨Here's your guide to women's health screenings by age✨

We often wait until something feels wrong to see a doctor, but many conditions can be caught early and treated quickly with preventive screenings.

From your 20s to your 60s and on, each stage of life comes with different needs. Staying on top of these screenings can lead to early detection, better health outcomes, and longer lives.

These are general recommendations, but talk to your provider about what might be right for you.

💙 In honor of National Foster Care Month, we want to recognize and support the incredible foster parents caring for children in our communities.

Did you know—Children in foster care automatically qualify for WIC benefits if they meet age requirements. WIC can help provide healthy foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to additional resources for your family.

Using WIC benefits does not take benefits away from another family—WIC is designed to support all eligible participants who qualify, including foster children. If your foster child is eligible, we encourage you to take advantage of the resources available to help meet their nutritional needs.

If it’s been a while since you’ve used WIC, things have changed a lot! WIC has made many updates to better support busy families, including:
✅ Fewer in-person appointments
✅ Expanded and updated food package options
✅ Benefits loaded onto a convenient EBT card
✅ More flexible services to make participation easier than ever

Thank you to all foster parents for the care, stability, and love you provide every day. 💙 If you have questions about WIC eligibility or services, reach out to our office—we’re here to help!

Pregnant now or gave birth within the last year? Your body may be telling you something important.

Certain symptoms during pregnancy or postpartum should never be ignored—including severe headaches, vision changes, trouble breathing, chest pain, heavy bleeding, swelling, and more. These could be signs of serious complications and need medical attention right away.

Knowing the warning signs can save lives. Take a moment to review them and share this information with someone you love—you never know who may need it. 💕

🍓🥕 Around 6 months, most babies are ready to begin exploring solid foods—a fun (and messy!) milestone! 🥄✨

As you introduce new foods, it’s important to know which foods can be choking hazards for young children. Some foods should be avoided or modified until age 4 or older, depending on your child’s development and eating skills.

Keeping mealtimes safe helps little ones build confidence while learning to eat! 💕
