Tri Cities Area Association for the Handicaped - TCAAH The Association promotes the welfare of adult physically and mentally handicapped by conducting prog Transportation is provided to and from many activities.

The Association provides dances, bowling, an annual Christmas party, a bowling banquet, participation in Special Olympics, field trips, Saturday activities, shopping, crafts, and summer camp. Target population are men, women, and young adults with mental and physical disabilities.

Attached is the Summer Games handbook. It contains a lot of helpful information, including a map of the venue, for families and fans to look at ahead of the competition next weekend. I will have specific athlete event times, pack lists, and more information at Sunday’s practice. See everyone then! -Melissa

TCAAH is state bound!!!
We couldn’t have asked for better weather at yesterday’s regional event. Our very own Sunday got to help with the torch run and Emily got to lead athletes in the oath. Bring on summer games!!

For those who received a gold medal, we will have our next practice on Sunday, May 3rd. We WILL NOT have practice on April 26th. Just a reminder, our future practices will be for gold medal events only.

Practice reminder! Our first practice is tomorrow at 12:30pm at the Granite City High School track. The restrooms will not be available so please use the restroom before. It looks like it’s going to be a bit chilly so bundle up! You must have a valid medical form on file with Special Olympics Illinois to participate. See you all tomorrow! -Melissa

Another post about practice! Our first practice will be Sunday, March 1, at 12:30pm at the Granite City High School Track. The turnstile will be unlocked. I look forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks. -Melissa

Due to some feedback I received last week, I am changing the time of practice. We will now have practice at 12:30pm, NOT 11:00am. The location will remain the same. See you 3/1/26 at 12:30 at GCHS track. -Melissa
