🫎 A LITTLE MOOSE LODGE PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT 🫎
We’re a family-friendly lodge, not a fast-food restaurant… and sometimes our kitchen likes to remind us of that. 😂
🥰We LOVE putting on our food nights, and our crew works their tails 🫎off to get everyone fed. But we have a small kitchen, limited equipment, and only so many burgers, fries and dinners we can crank out at one time.
So if you’ve ever sat there thinking…🤔
“Have they forgotten about me?” 👀
Nope. 😂
We promise, you’re not being singled out!
If your food takes 30–45 minutes when we’re busy, chances are the people at the next table are waiting too. And probably the table behind them. We’re equal-opportunity waiters around here! 🤣
We may not be the fastest kitchen in town, but we’re doing the very best we can with what we have — and there’s a whole lot of heart coming out of that little kitchen. ❤️🫎
So while you wait, grab a liquid refreshment 🍺, shoot some pool, throw some darts, head out under the pavilion and enjoy those lights and that wonderful breeze that somehow shows up even when Illinois feels like the surface of the sun. ☀️😂
And most importantly… enjoy the people.
Because we may have a small kitchen, but we’ve got some pretty AWESOME people, good friends, plenty of laughs and a lodge we’re proud to call ours.
Thank you for your patience, your understanding and for supporting GC Moose Lodge 272.
Good food. Good friends. Good times.
And occasionally… a little bit of a wait. 🫎❤️😂

September menu is a good line up of fantastic meals.
