Good morning Facebook Family and Friends. We want to let everyone know some sad news this am…our Resident Good Will Ambassador and Front Office Manager, Bandit, has made his journey to the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈♥️
It is with a heavy heart that we update all of our followers of this situation. Bandit came to us approximately 4 years ago and we took him in knowing the baggage that he carried would more than likely mean he would be spending the rest of his days in our care. Lucky us as he brightened our days with his awesomeness! ♥️🐾♥️
The challenges his tiny body faced were monumental, but Bandit didn’t show any of that in his demeanor or his physical appearance. He bravely stepped into every day with a sense of purpose…he welcomed every new Resident with open paws and made so many Friends along the way!! He was the Handsome Old Man who never, ever knew a stranger. ♥️
His presence was felt every single day and he was a trooper even when times got tough. Our hearts are cracked, but not broken due to the love and Friendship Bandit showed all of the Staff, Volunteers and Friends. 🐾 We owe it to him and so many others to keep our hearts open to new animals in need because of the example he set.
Today we ask that you smile and belly rub your own companion animals as you think of Bandit and his legacy…we know he would approve!! ♥️🐾♥️
Thank you to all who took the time to know him or read about him as it does take a village, people, to care for our Residents. We appreciate your support and love and we know Bandit is catching up with many of his Old Friends as he runs that bridge free of anything that held his body back…what a glorious sight! ♥️🐾♥️
