That’s all the tiles we have left after our final business-sponsored paint parties!

If you’ve been thinking about being part of this project, now is the time. We needed 750 painted tiles to bring this Community Mosaic Mural to life, and our community has truly stepped up in a big way.

Don’t have time to paint but still want your business represented? We know a few talented friends who may be willing to help, but we’re officially down to the wire.

📅 All completed tiles are due by Wednesday, June 24 at the Park Office in Wilson Park.

Thank you to everyone who has painted, sponsored, hosted, shared, and supported this project. We can’t wait to see all 750 tiles come together into something special for our community.

The unveiling date will be announced once all tiles have been collected!

If you’ve still got tiles out, please get them turned in ASAP. They are accepted at Royal Banks, the City Clerk’s Office, the Chamber Office or the Park Board Office.

We are excited to partner with CCC for one of our final Community Mosaic Mural tile-painting events!

What a joy it has been connecting with community members and visiting the many businesses and organizations that have welcomed us throughout this project. Seeing the creativity, enthusiasm, and support from our community has made this experience truly special.

As we near the finish line, we’re grateful for everyone who has helped bring this vision to life, one tile at a time. We hope you’ll join us for one of our last painting opportunities and become part of this lasting community artwork!

For those looking for an opportunity to paint with a group for the Community Mosaic Mural, Manhattan's Socialhouse will be hosting a paint and sip this Thursday from 6:00–8:00 PM!

Feel free to drop in anytime during those two hours to paint your tile. Most people finish in about 20–30 minutes, but the conversation and socializing tend to keep us around a little longer!

I'll share additional painting opportunities as they are confirmed, but this week and next week will be the final chances to participate. Don't miss your opportunity to be part of this incredible community project!

Thank you to everyone who came out for our Heart of the Community mural tile event last night! We had such a great turnout and loved seeing everyone’s creativity, laughter, and community spirit come together.

From serious artists to “I’m not creative at all” painters… every single tile added something special, and we’re so excited to see the finished mural come to life in Wilson Park 🇺🇸

We don’t want to give too much away, but construction of the Community Mosaic Mural has officially begun, and it looks incredible!
We are so grateful to the Granite City Park District for believing in this vision from the very beginning and helping bring it to life.
We’re down to our last few tiles, so if you’d like to represent your business as part of this one-of-a-kind community project, now is the time! Once these remaining tiles are gone, they’re gone, so don’t miss your chance to be part of Granite City history.
If you have completed tiles that still need to be picked up, send us a message and we’ll be happy to come get them.
We can’t wait to unveil the finished project as our community prepares to celebrate America’s 250th birthday!

We’ve reached the home stretch!
Thank you Century 21 Bailey & Co for hosting tonight’s paint party!
The laughter by the mother / daughter duo making fun of each other’s artwork was priceless.
We have 4 more paint parties planned:
June 9th at Big Meechie’s (watch for posts indicating times and food / drink specials for the night).
June 11th back at Manhattan's Socialhouse (we were so well behaved we got invited back!) @ 6:00 pm.
June 17th at Chocolate Covered Creations (post with dates to come soon).
June 18th at Teri’s Route 66 Diner for 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm.
Thank you to all the businesses that hosted us. We’ve had a blast watching people come together to patronize and socialize!

We are enjoying everyone’s creativity as we receive the completed tiles back! We needed 750 tiles painted to complete the project, and we are down to our last 100 with four Paint & Sips still on our schedule.

You can join us at Manhattan's Socialhouse tonight or tomorrow night at Century 21 Bailey & Co to paint. Don’t worry if those dates don’t work for you; we’ll have more opportunities in June at Teri’s Route 66 Diner and Big Meechie’s (dates and times coming soon).

Group settings not your thing? You can still purchase tiles to complete on your own, but don’t wait and miss your opportunity to be part of this special community project.
