It may be a beautiful Monday in June, but we hard at work preparing for our first appearance at the 2026 Capital City PrideFest in the east village of Des Moines THIS WEEKEND!!

Make sure you come visit our booth to spin the wheel for a prize, talk about horses and mental health, and help us fundraise!

🎉 THANK YOU!!! 🎉

We are still giddy from the support you all showed at last week’s fundraising event at Firetrucker Brewery!! We had a great turnout, handed out plenty of horse stickers, and ultimately raised over $700 from private donations and Firetrucker’s contribution.

All donations go straight into our sessions, helping us reduce cost and offer free sessions to those in need of mental health care.

Thank YOU for stepping up for your community and having fun while doing it.

We had fun popping over to the Prism Therapy Solutions open house in the East Village!

Their location was colorful, welcoming, and cozy. The hallway, lobby, and offices were PACKED with the positive impact their providers have already made in the community. It was inspiring to see the number of people drawn to what Prism has to offer.

Prism Therapy Solutions was founded with the goal of working with kids, teens, and adults who are part of the LGBTQIA+ and/or BIPOC community, but they also welcome folks of all backgrounds and identities.

Hope On The Hoof is passionate about helping communities find connection and showing people that they are welcome, supported, and worthy.

We spent some time today with Danielle Thompson at Circle T Equine Massage, LLC for a little TLC for our best girl, Lady.

With expert hands, Danielle worked a few knots out of Lady’s muscles and had her yawning and reaching peak relaxation.

🐴 Just like humans, horses sometimes need help to relax and recharge, especially if they play a little too hard with their buddies or exercise regularly! 🐴

If you or someone you know has horses, make sure you reach out to Danielle to really spoil them!

Happy Monday! We hope you are surviving this frigid weather 🥶

We are staying warm with the memories of our group event with the DSM Breakerz from last Tuesday!!

🐴 Together we overcame feeling nervous around the horses, practiced being mindful of our thoughts and staying in the present, and worked on communicating through an obstacle course.

It was so great to have this wonderful group out to experience a bit of what we do!
