We are a nonprofit offering Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy to individuals with mental health needs

We had a BLAST at the Animal Rescue League of Iowa Mane Event.

It was a great way to reflect on where we were as a nonprofit this time last year. We attended this event last year with just two of our board members, and this year we got to fill an entire table with board members, volunteers, and supporters of our mission.

It was a special moment tonight to mark the passage of time through the successes and impact of the ARL and the growth and impact of our own nonprofit.

The sun is rising and we are getting into our sunrise meditation this morning! We have a great group today and can’t wait to get started!

Happy Sunday, everyone!

End the week with intention and start again renewed. Take care of yourself and listen to your body - it’ll tell you what you need!

*body whispers: “spend time with horses!”

It’s good for the soul, but maybe we’re a little biased 😊

🎉 THANK YOU!!! 🎉

We are still giddy from the support you all showed at last week’s fundraising event at Firetrucker Brewery!! We had a great turnout, handed out plenty of horse stickers, and ultimately raised over $700 from private donations and Firetrucker’s contribution.

All donations go straight into our sessions, helping us reduce cost and offer free sessions to those in need of mental health care.

Thank YOU for stepping up for your community and having fun while doing it.

Come visit us THIS SATURDAY and help us celebrate a community coming together for mental health awareness!

Sagent Behavioral Health is having a Party in the Park at Terra Park in Johnston, IA with food trucks, a live band, fun activities, and community partners (including us!).

We’re excited to introduce Ally Arenivas, Hope On The Hoof’s very first Ambassador!

As a mental health provider herself, Ally is passionate about and committed to helping expand access to mental health support through connection, presence, and advocacy.

As an Ambassador, she helps bring our mission into the community - starting conversations, reducing stigma around mental health, and supporting healing through connection.

We’re so grateful to have Ally helping us create spaces where healing can happen.

Welcome to the herd, Ally! 🐴💛
