The Granger KJT society #28 sponsored a hamburger and fries meal and raffle for the benefit of St. Mary's Catholic School in Taylor. A total of $6,500 was raised which included a $500 grant from the KJT home office in La Grange. A presentation was made to St. Mary's school. The Granger American Legion posted American Flags in the downtown area for Veterans Day tomorrow. Bernard Hyzak and Dan Wolf are members of KJT #28.

We got together and sold burgers, fries and desserts on the 1st Sunday in October, 2025 bingo kitchen. We made $1,525 and here we are presenting the check to the Granger Community Food Pantry.

Granger KJT society #28 recently honored their 75 year pin recipients with a Sunday morning breakfast. Nine of these recipients were able to attend and were congratulated by state director Shirley Pokorney.

In attendance were: front row Ted Kallus, Terry W. Pekar, Dominic Polasek, Jerry Polasek, Jerry Michalek; back row Granger society secretary-treasurer John Pavelka, Dr. William Pavlat, Jodie Wolf, Richard L. Cervenka, Joseph Horak, and state director Shirley Pokorney. Also honored were those who could not attend or were since deceased.

Tuesday, 5/13/25, bingo kitchen sponsored by KJT #28 is happy to satisfy your hunger with chili spaghetti and chicken salad sandwiches. Proceeds benefit Missionaries of Hope. Food ready at 5 pm. Desserts also available.

The Granger KJT society #28 made two donations to the Granger Area Food Pantry. One was from a hamburger & fries fundraiser at SSCM hall for $910. And the other was a grant from the KJT home office Memorial Foundation for $500.
