🇺🇸 Grandview Community Club Announces 2026 Fourth of July Parade Grand Marshal 🇺🇸
The Grandview Community Club is proud to announce Jeanette Brockert as the 2026 Fourth of July Parade Grand Marshal as we celebrate both America’s 250th Birthday and the 77th Grandview Fourth of July Parade!
For nearly seven decades, Jeanette has been a part of Grandview’s Fourth of July traditions. From participating in the Teddy Bear Parade as a young child to serving as a volunteer, member, club president, and now Grand Marshal, her dedication to our community has spanned generations.
Jeanette’s story reflects what makes Grandview special: neighbors helping neighbors, lifelong friendships, and a commitment to preserving the traditions that bring our community together. Whether helping build parade floats, organizing events, or serving behind the scenes, Jeanette has always answered the call to serve.
When reflecting on her years of involvement, Jeanette shared,
“What keeps you involved is the joy of it. It takes a village to organize the Fourth of July. It’s fun. It’s a great big reunion for the community.”
That spirit of service and community has been evident throughout Jeanette’s life and is one of the many reasons we are honored to recognize her as this year’s Grand Marshal.
When asked what she hopes people remember about her involvement in the community, her response was simple:
“That I tried to do my part and be there for others. That I cared.”
Please join us in congratulating Jeanette Brockert on this well-deserved honor and thanking her for her decades of dedication to Grandview and the Grandview Community Club.
💙 Congratulations, Jeanette, and thank you for all that you do!❤️
