Turning Point Missions

We purchase, renovate, and sell homes in the Grand Rapids, Mi market providing affordable housing for families. We strive to reflect our love for Christ by hiring unemployed and/or under-employed individuals to assist us with the renovation work. They earn some much needed money while learning skills to better their work abilities outside of the mission. One hundred percent (100%) of the profits from the sale of our houses is used to fund our mission outreach work.

Turning Point Missions partners with Living Hope Mission in Cap-Haitian, Haiti to build water filtration systems for villages - providing countless families with a reliable source of clean safe water.

$7,500 will purchase a filtration system serving 1,000 people

$50 will purchase a 5-gallon individual family filter

Local people are taught to maintain the systems and with proper maintenance, each system/filter will last many years

It is indeed important to provide clean drinking water for people, especially children, to enable them to live longer, productive lives. However, the end result of those lives remains unchanged unless we are able to introduce those we meet to the only source of “living water” - Jesus Christ. Our projects, both here and in Haiti, offer us the opportunity to work alongside those we are helping, allowing us to share Christ’s love with them.

Haiti is the poorest country in the Western hemisphere

54% of the people of Haiti live on less than $1 per day

3.8 million Haitians don’t have access to clean water

1 in 8 Haitian children do not live to be 5 years old of age (12.5%)

On worldwide basis, 25,000 children die daily from totally preventable diseases, majority of which are water borne
