The Fam, formerly Boys Club, was started by Calvin College sophomores. Our mission is to reach out to inner city boys in downtown Grand Rapids and create lifelong positive relationships with them. We are currently mentoring 9 boys and our typical day includes a variety of different activities. When the boys first arrive, we provide them with a snack, discuss how their weeks have been, and get invo

lved in a recreational activity. We end our time together in a short bible study. This year, we plan to focus on different Biblical characteristics and virtues that create Christ-like men. We work underneath the Clancy Street Ministries as our own organization.
