LIFT Community Outreach With God’s provision leading every step, LIFT Community Outreach grew quickly. This rapid confirmation showed the urgent need and purpose behind our mission.

LIFT Community Outreach-Lifting Individuals for Today is a new 501c3 that will create a community where individuals are supported, empowered, and inspired to thrive in the now and build for the future. Our Story

LIFT Community Outreach, which stands for Lifting Individuals For Today, began with a simple calling: to support people in meaningful, practical ways that honor dignity and restore hope.

After seeing firsthand how many families struggle to access consistent support and resources, it was clear that our community needed a place where individuals could be guided, encouraged, and equipped. What typically takes nonprofits years—501(c)(3) approval—was completed in just 2½ months. Today, LIFT Community Outreach continues to grow by serving families, partnering with churches, businesses, and community members, and developing programs that strengthen individuals both today and for their future.

📣 We’re excited to partner with LMCU to offer a FREE 3-week Financial Literacy Series at LIFT Community Outreach! 💙

If you’re 16–24 years old, this series is designed to give you practical knowledge and confidence to build a strong financial future.

💰 Each week we’ll cover:
• Banking Basics – Understanding banks, credit unions, and managing your account
• Budgeting – Learning how to create a budget and make your money work for you
• Credit & Lending – Understanding credit, loans, and building a strong financial foundation

🍽️ Dinner will be provided at each class beginning at 5:30 PM, with the session following.

🎁 And there’s a little extra incentive! Those who complete all three classes will receive a free gift.

What an incredible day for LIFT Community Outreach! We had a packed house today but we were able to help a lot of people.

Today, we had the privilege of helping 248 children get ready for the new school year with free back-to-school supplies! 📚✏️🎒

And our Dance Boutique – Homecoming Edition helped 29 teens find a dress or suit for their upcoming dance. 👗👔

Behind every number is a child or teen who was given a little extra encouragement and support as they head into a new school year. We are so grateful that LIFT could be a small part of helping so many families in our community. ❤️

A HUGE thank you to every donor, volunteer, and supporter who helped make today possible. Your generosity, time, and willingness to serve made this day happen!

248 children. 29 teens. So many families blessed.

Our Back to School Program has run out of supplies and therefore will close this one for the rest of the day.

Our Dance Boutique is still open for our high school students needing a dress or suit. We are open until 2pm.

We are all set up for our Back to School and Dance Boutique-Homecoming Edition. We are so excited to help our students be prepared and ready for the upcoming school year.

Both events will be held Saturday, August 15 from 10 a.m-2 p.m. at 2nd Church 525 Cheshire NE. We ask that children be present to receive items. If your child(ren) cannot be present, please bring in a photo of birth certificate, DHHS papers, or something that shows you have children.

Please note that this is while supplies last and that we may not have sizes or styles you need.

A HUGE THANK YOU to all the donors and volunteers that helped make this possible. We appreciate all of your support and could not do this great work without YOU!

*Shoppers will enter through the handicap door 3 next to the fenced area(west side). We will have a sign directing you.

*Volunteers, please arrive by 9:30 and park on the east side of the building behind Marathon by the Chiropractor office.

Are you a high school student looking for that special dress or suit for your upcoming dance? Come check out our Dance Boutique! We will also have shoes, jewelry, and other accessories to help complete your look. ✨
