Have you ever heard someone say, "There just isn't anything for the disability community to do?"

We hear it all the time. Rather than accepting that reality, we're working to change it.

That's why we created Viewfinder a community event designed to bring people together through creativity, connection, and inclusion. Everyone deserves opportunities to participate, build relationships, and feel like they belong.

Creating accessible community events takes more than an idea. It takes a community willing to help spread the word.

If you believe inclusion matters, we'd be incredibly grateful if you would share Viewfinder with your network. Your support helps us reach individuals and families who may not know opportunities like this exist.

Together, we can create communities where accessibility isn't an afterthought. It's the standard.

Viewfinder is a free, accessible photography walk and roll through downtown Grand Rapids for people with disabilities. Join us July 20, 2026. Register now.

Happy Father’s Day to the dads who show up every single day. 💙

To the fathers who learn new ways to communicate, who celebrate milestones big and small, who become experts in IEPs and therapies and everything in between. Those who advocate fiercely and love unconditionally.

This Father’s Day, we’re celebrating you. Not just for what you do, but for who you are: a steady hand, a soft place to land, and your child’s biggest champion.

To every dad in the Hopelynd community, thank you for showing the world what real advocacy looks like.

Image description (alt text):
A father and son stand close together against a dark background, both smiling and making peace signs with their hands. The father wears glasses and a teal button-up shirt with short sleeves, his arm around his son’s shoulders. The son, who has Down syndrome, wears red glasses and a blue shirt with “72” embroidered on it, sticking his tongue out playfully. Bold white text overlaid on the image reads “Happy Father’s to those that advocate.” Both stand on a wood floor.

We spoke with a wedding venue that is primarily outdoors and they mentioned that the rental for their accessible restroom trailer was significantly higher in the rental cost than non accessible. Let’s do better for equal rights as humans.
