Proof that community still shows up. 🤍

More than 65 neighbors, business owners, and community leaders came together at Sullivan Field I Grand Rapids, Michigan to connect, catch up, and keep building Grand Rapids’ West Side Neighborhood we all love.

We heard stories from the past, shared updates for the future, enjoyed some legendary Stockbridge Dogs from Lewandoski’s Market and spent the evening doing what the West Side does best, showing up for one another.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the evening happen, especially Steven Tibbe for bringing it all together, Mandy Samuels for the perfect picnic setup, Mike Sak, Matt Witkos, Jan Beerthuis, Jessica Smith, and everyone who joined us.

This community is built by people who care, and it shows.

We’ll see you at the next one.

THIS is not your average ice-cream store.

THIS is 70 years of family history with off menu items and always finding new ways to serve the community.

And yep, they just dropped a cake freezer fully stocked with ready-to-go cakes and single-serve cakes.

Just think of the moment you don’t have time to bake that birthday cake. I guess that’s taken care of now ;)

Thank you Walker St. Dairy Queen for showing me around, this one’s a WestSide staple for a reason.
