And yep, they just dropped a cake freezer fully stocked with ready-to-go cakes and single-serve cakes.

Just think of the moment you don’t have time to bake that birthday cake. I guess that’s taken care of now ;)

Thank you Walker St. Dairy Queen for showing me around, this one’s a WestSide staple for a reason.

Oh what a night. It is so easy to fall in love with our city and all the amazing individuals making Grand Rapids a better place.

Last night was the fifth annual West Michigan Food and Beverage Awards show and it truly was a night to remember.

The most talented and exceptional individuals and establishments were honored during the awards show, including:

as best coffee shop
Sean Newhouse as pastry chef of the year
as restaurant of the year
Sarah Andro as manager of the year
Andy Kraus as chef of the year

Thank you and all judges, sponsors, and hosts for all your hard work making this event a true success.

A vintage gas pump, Coca-Cola sign, and a lamp made out out of records…. How cool is this!?

So no matter what you’re thinking, they can literally turn anything into a light fixture.

And you haven’t even seen their shade room yet ;) I will save that one for another video.

Come on in.

Did you know the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum has been around for over 28 years!?

That’s actually crazy.
So, if you haven’t been yet, definitely check it out. There’s something to do for big and small.

But it gets better, in summer 2026 all lovers get to experience a new Lego adventure.

We can’t wait.

THIS is Grand Rapids most German brewery you can find in West Michigan.

*and of course they’re on the West Side.

If you are a beer lover and haven’t tried this yet, this is definitely a sign to go and have some fun the German way.
