Our Purpose is to lead people into a totally committed relationship with Jesus Christ. Vision:
The Grand Rapids Dream Center was developed through the Adopt-A-Block ministry that focuses on adopting a community and building relationships through consistently serving people and meeting needs. A committed group of leaders and volunteers serve within the community on a weekly basis and, through time

and dedication, the community will be impacted by the love of God. As a community experiences transformation, it will generate additional volunteers and new leaders who will expand the Dream Center’s reach into other communities in Grand Rapids. It is Grand Rapids Dream Center’s heart to see six goals fulfilled:

DISARM PEOPLE THROUGH THE LOVE OF CHRIST. Convey love to people so that emotional walls may be removed that will enable them to enter into a personal relationship with Christ. DISCIPLE AND DISCOVER. Build programs that will help people to grow in their character in Christ as well as discover their unique gifts, personality and purpose. Discover or rediscover the God-given dreams that are placed within peoples’ hearts. DESIGN. Support those who are growing and help them design a plan for fulfilling their unique destiny and dream. DELIVER. Walk alongside those who are moving forward in God’s plan for their life and help them to identify obstacles and overcome roadblocks. DON’T SETTLE. Continue to encourage people to reach their full potential through their unique purpose.

These events wouldn't be the same without you. Actually, they wouldn't be possible at all. You bring the energy, the smiles, the hands-on-deck spirit that turns a block party into a real community celebration. You bring life to this neighborhood, and we see it every single time.

🥧✨ Sweet lessons from our Genesis Destiny girls this week!

Our girls spent the day learning how to make banana cream pie from scratch — and the joy didn't stop with dessert for themselves! They rolled up their sleeves and made a few extra pies to deliver to neighbors right here in our own community.

The looks on our neighbors' faces said it all. They were so blessed! 💛

But the real lesson baked into this whole day? It's a lot more fun to give than to receive. Watching these girls discover that truth — not just hear it, but feel it in real time — is exactly why we do what we do.

Learning to drive is about so much more than getting from point A to point B.

This week, Alice and Micheline spent time practicing parking. A skill that takes patience, confidence, and plenty of practice. 🚗

At the Grand Rapids Dream Center, helping our youth log driving hours is just one of the many life skills we invest in. While these moments behind the wheel are important, we spend countless hours on the other side of the vehicle too, building relationships, mentoring, encouraging, teaching, and walking alongside our students as they grow into confident, capable young adults.

We're incredibly proud of how hard Alice, Micheline, and so many of our youth work to develop these skills. Every lesson learned today is another step toward greater independence, responsibility, and opportunity tomorrow.

It's a privilege to be part of the journey. ❤️

Generosity looks different on every business card.

A housing developer investing in where people actually live. A construction company that builds with this city in mind, not just for it. Two real estate teams that know that a strong Grand Rapids starts with strong neighborhoods. A real estate group that's never met a "we'll take you anywhere" they didn't mean. A dermatology practice that decided patient care and community care aren't two different things. Different industries, different specialties...all pointing in the same direction: toward generational transformation and care for Grand Rapids!

🔥 CAMP RECAP 🔥

Three days. One incredible group of young people. A whole lot of Kingdom moments.

Our World Changers and Genesis Destiny youth just wrapped up an amazing camp filled with fellowship, fun, and something so much deeper — a real understanding of whose we are, who we are, and that every single one of us was made for more.

These young men and women showed up, let their guard down, and leaned into community with each other. There was laughter, there was connection, and there were moments where you could just feel God working in hearts and identities being shaped by truth instead of the noise of the world.

Watching our youth discover — some for the first time — that they are known, they are loved, and they have a purpose far bigger than anything they've been told before? That's the whole reason we do this.

To every World Changer and Genesis Destiny young person who showed up this week: we see you, we're proud of you, and we can't wait to see who you become. You were made for more — and you're just getting started.

🎉 BAPTISM SUNDAY 🎉

What a beautiful day it was.

Last week, we celebrated two baptisms — two women who have been transformed by God and chose to commit everything to Him. One from our Genesis Destiny family, and one of our sisters from Reflections.

We didn't need a fancy sanctuary or a river. God met us right in our neighbor's backyard, in his hot tub, surrounded by the people who love these women most. The turnout was amazing — friends, family, and Dream Center family all showing up to witness two lives fully surrendered to Jesus.

There's something so fitting about it happening in community, in an ordinary backyard, on an ordinary Sunday — because that's exactly where transformation happens. Not in perfect, polished moments, but in real life, with real people, cheering each other on.

To our two sisters: we are so proud of you, and so grateful to have witnessed your "yes" to Jesus. Heaven is celebrating with us today.

If you've never seen a life change right in front of your eyes — this is what it looks like. 💧✨
