From the Panther pitch to Ford Field! ⚽🦁

Join us in celebrating Davenport University alumna and former student-athlete Courtney Drew! After graduating early this May, Courtney is heading straight into her dream job with the Detroit Lions.

During her time at DU, Courtney balanced her coursework, played for the women's soccer team, and served as president of the marketing association (AMA). By leveraging local sports internships and relentless networking, she secured her new role as an Inside Sales Account Executive for her hometown team.

We are incredibly proud to welcome Courtney to the Davenport Alumni family! We can't wait to see her shine in the NFL. 🐾

As we prepare to bid a heartfelt farewell to Dr. Richard J. Pappas after 17 incredible years of leadership, we are thrilled to share that Anthony Anderson will be stepping in as our interim president starting July 1, 2026.

With his extensive experience and dedication to the Davenport community, Anthony is perfectly positioned to lead us forward as we continue to push toward our Vision 2030 goals.

Davenport University announces Anthony Anderson as interim president, effective July 1, 2026, following the upcoming retirement of President Richard J. Pappas, Ed.D.

With deep institutional knowledge and a strong commitment to student success and innovation, Anderson will help guide Davenport through this important transition while advancing our Vision 2030 priorities.
