Our team attended the Healing Our Waters Conference in Detroit last week!

Discussions centered around data centers, chronic water shut offs in the city or Detroit, dam removals across the Great Lakes region, and more.

We wouldn’t be able to do this work without our amazing partners in West Michigan and across the Midwest!

Grand Rapids partners reunited!

The Healing Our Waters (HOW) Great Lakes Conference brings together people from across the region who are working to protect and restore the Great Lakes.

The conference connects nonprofit leaders, scientists, government officials, students, policy experts, and environmental justice advocates to share ideas and learn from each other.

The conference includes presentations, breakout sessions, and field trips, that explore the work happening across the Great Lakes and ways to keep moving restoration efforts forward.

Data Center water consumption presentation.

Residents discuss how unjustified water shutoffs impacted them and their families in Detroit. These residents have transformed into local advocates in their communities to help those who have also been affected.
