This October, your blood donation can carry even more hope. 💗

For the second year, Versiti is partnering with ABCD: After Breast Cancer Diagnosis for the Pulse in Pink Giving Challenge, bringing our community together to support patients who need blood and people affected by breast cancer.

From Oct. 14-31, donate blood at any Versiti donor center and enter code ABCD when scheduling online. Your donation can help patients who depend on a ready blood supply. And through donor participation, Versiti will contribute up to $10,000 to support ABCD and its work.

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, turn awareness into action.

🚒🩸 This Fire Prevention Month, we’re taking preparedness beyond the firehouse.

When every second counts, having blood available before an emergency happens can make a lifesaving difference. That’s why Versiti is proud to work alongside first responders to help expand access to blood in the pre-hospital setting — bringing lifesaving care closer to patients when and where they need it most.

And this October, you can be part of that mission through Firefighters Bleed Red! ❤️🔥

We’re teaming up with fire departments, EMS teams and community partners across Michigan for special blood drives throughout the month. Roll up your sleeve, help strengthen the blood supply and support the lifesaving work happening in our communities every day.

🐻 As a thank-you, donors at participating Firefighters Bleed Red drives will receive a Ranger Beacon “Only You Can Prevent Blood Shortages” T-shirt, while supplies last!

🏰 Huzzah! A most noble showing indeed! 🩸⚔️

For the first three weekends of the Michigan Renaissance Festival, donors answered the call and rolled up their sleeves for a lifesaving quest.

Together, our generous lords, ladies and lifesavers donated 241 units of blood, helping impact 700+ lives in our communities. ❤️

No chainmail required. No dragons were slain. Just an incredible group of donors doing something truly heroic for patients in need. 👑

To everyone who made blood donation part of their Renaissance Festival adventure: HUZZAH and THANK THEE! Your generosity is one for the history books.

🎡❤️ What a way to celebrate the Michigan State Fair!

This Labor Day weekend, fairgoers did more than enjoy the food, rides and festivities — they rolled up their sleeves to help save lives in our community. And the results were incredible!

Together, you helped us collect 91 units of blood — surpassing our goal! 🎉 Even more exciting? 61 people donated blood for the very first time!

Those donations have the power to impact 249 local lives.

To every donor who made giving blood part of their State Fair experience: THANK YOU! And a special welcome to our 61 first-time donors. We hope this was the first of many. 😊

We’re so grateful to the Michigan State Fair for helping us bring lifesaving blood donation to one of Michigan’s favorite traditions.

🐔🏆 The results are in!

For the third year, our Chick-fil-A partners went head-to-head in the Chick-fil-A Summer Showdown — and this was our best turnout yet! ❤️

🥇 1st Place: Westnedge
🥈 2nd Place: Kalamazoo
🥉 3rd Place: Holland

There may be a few locations taking home bragging rights, but the biggest winners are the patients and families across our communities. Together, our Chick-fil-A partners hosted 17 blood drives, collected an incredible 414 pints of blood and helped impact nearly 1,207 local lives! 🩸

That’s something worth celebrating.

For this , we’re sending a HUGE thank you to every person who hosted, recruited, volunteered, spread the word and rolled up a sleeve. You helped us far surpass our goal and made this year’s Summer Showdown one for the record books.

We’re so grateful for this partnership and another amazing summer of saving lives together. ❤️
