Kathleen Vanslyke 1993 Cold Case Homicide, Grand Rapids, MI Please help us solve the 1993 murder of Kathleen Vanslyke, a wife and mother. Kathleen was shot and killed on a July afternoon in a parking lot.

On July 23, 1993 at 3:30PM Kathleen Vanslyke was shot and killed with a single shot while waiting in her car in a parking lot near 808 Burton SE. After being shot Kathleen's car traveled backwards and struck a building. Kathleen was shot at close range, during the daylight, with several people in the area. We are asking for anyone with any information, or who was in the area at the time, come forward and contact the Kent Metro Cold Case Team. Please help us bring closure to this family.
