The NAACP Greater Grand Rapids Young Fellows Program is now accepting applicants ages 16–25 for an 8-week paid leadership experience!

🗓️ June 23 – August 15
💵 $17/hour | 15 hrs/week
📍 Mon-Wed-Fri | 10AM–3PM

We are excited to announce an extension to the application deadline for our leadership program! The new deadline to apply is June 10th at 5 PM EST.

Are you interested in expanding your leadership skills?

From June 17th to August 16th, this paid two-month program provides young adults between 16 and 25 with leadership training, professional and personal development, and exposure to career opportunities while acquiring the skills necessary to perform in all workspaces. Young fellows are expected to attend weekly workshops while performing the duties and tasks specified by NAACP management.

This meeting will share insights gained during the listening session, explain the demands listed in our letter, and promote more effective communication about the changes GVSU students need.

Join us on Wednesday, March 20th, from 6-8 pm in Pere Marquette for an impactful “Politics in Color” Panel discussion! The Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. The NOTORIOUS Iota Epsilon Chapter, The Brothers of the Beta Chapter of Black Leaders Fighting for Critical Knowledge (B.L.A.C.K.), The Sultry Xi Nu Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc., Michigan League of Conservation Voters (M.L.C.V.), and Politicking Inc. are coming together to encourage our youth and young adults to attend and support.
