There’s still time for everyone to take advantage of our fundraising and It can’t be overstated how important these fundraising efforts are. It helps keep our registration costs the lowest in our league, helps us to buy more and better practice, equipment, and most notably it’s going to help purchase nicer reversible jerseys for next year.

NORTHVIEW YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL SEASON UPDATE!

We have some exciting news — we now have all of the coaches we need!

I am currently working with our Head Coaches to finalize the team rosters, and we expect practices to begin next week!
Once your child has been assigned to a team, their Head Coach will contact your family directly with the team information and practice schedule. We anticipate coaches will begin contacting families by Friday, so please keep an eye out for that communication.

2026 FLAG FOOTBALL SEASON:

📅 First Game: Saturday, September 12
⏰ Game Time: 9:00–10:00 AM
📍 Location: Northview High School Stadium
🏈 Game Day: Saturday mornings
📆 Season: 5 games

Practice schedules and locations will be determined by each individual Head Coach, with practices expected to begin next week.

I will be stopping by each team's practice to distribute jerseys to the players. Please remember that the jerseys are property of Northview Youth Football and must be returned at the end of the season. We know the later-than-planned start has created some uncertainty, and we sincerely appreciate everyone's patience while we worked to get everything in place.

The wait is almost over! Once the rosters are finalized and coaches begin contacting families, we'll be ready to get these kids on the field! 💪🏈

I am confident we're going to have a great flag football season, and more importantly, our organization is committed to providing every player with a positive, fun, competitive, and memorable Northview Youth Football experience.

Thank you to all of our parents for your patience, support, and for trusting us with your kids. And a huge thank-you to all of our volunteer coaches for stepping up and making this season possible!

Looking for two more coaches to coach a flag football team.

The program really needs two more parents willing to step up and coach a flag football team. Right now we have two parents committed to coaching, but we need two more as we will have four teams this year.

If you’re willing to help out and coach a team, the program would greatly appreciate your efforts. Please let me know as soon as possible. If this is something you can do or if you know someone who would. Thank you!

FLAG PARENTS: I appreciate your patience as we get the season started. I’ll be contacting the head coaches later today to set up our flag football coaches meeting. Following that meeting the head coaches will be contacting their players with all the specific information you’ll need.

Thank you again, parents for all of your patience. We’re working hard to set thos season up for success and I know we’re gonna have another outstanding year! Go Cats!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Any player that does not have helmet decals (red paw print) for their football helmet, needs to purchase a pair of them through the online store. TACKLE PARENTS: I know this information is getting out late, but we had to keep registrations open for a little longer in order to fill out our teams. The rosters have been completed and have been sent to the coaches. The head coach for each tackle team should be contacting their players today or tonight.

IMPORTANT EVALUATION NIGHT INFORMATION

Unfortunately, we have to move down from the high school field onto the grass practice fields we normally practice at. Band is kicking us off the half turf, and soccer is kicking us off the main field. So we will be attempting to have our evaluation nights on the grass practice fields directly behind the stadium accessed off of Rahn Street.  Please help spread the word if you’re seeing this.
