With sadness we share the passing of LAC founding father, Jon Muth. Lawyer, leader, father, friend, Jon lived his life fully with honor, integrity, wisdom, and curiosity. With the LAC, Jon created a beacon in the darkness, a light to show the path to justice for all. To honor Jon and in memory of his extraordinary life, we undertake to keep that light burning bright, always.

The Legal Assistance Center will be temporarily closed beginning today, Wednesday, December 16, 2020. We plan to reopen beginning on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 10 am to 2 pm. You may call for assistance at 616-632-6000. You will be asked to leave a message. Calls will be returned as promptly as possible. However, calls will not be returned between Monday, December 21 and Friday, December 25.
