Sponsors, Players and Supporters,
We hope this message finds you well.
On behalf of the Folds Grand Rapids team, we want to extend our sincere gratitude for your years of support, participation, and generosity. Your involvement in our annual golf outing has played a meaningful role in helping us serve families of
fallen and disabled first responders and veterans.
After careful consideration, we have made the decision to discontinue the Folds of Grand Rapids Golf Outing. While this event has been a valued tradition, we believe the time is right to evolve our approach to make an even greater and more sustainable impact.
Moving forward, we are taking a thoughtful step back to evaluate how Folds can best continue its mission in the years ahead. Our focus remains clear: providing college scholarships to the children of fallen and disabled first responders and military veterans. As we look to the future, we are exploring ways to deliver this impact more sustainably and effectively; while reducing the operational demands of large-scale events. Our goal is to strengthen our support, maintain meaningful connections with our community, and ensure the long-term continuity of our work.
We are deeply grateful for the community that has formed around this event and for the countless ways you have contributed over the years. Your support has made a lasting difference in the lives of many families, and we hope you will continue
to stand with us as we begin this next chapter.
In the coming months, we will share more information about the foundation and opportunities to stay involved.
We look forward to continuing this important mission together.
Thank you again for your unwavering support.
With appreciation,
Brad Laackman, Brian Heerdt and Jay Ofield
